Let's go over the summary again real quick. Shall we?

 

Long ago, in the far reaches of space, there existed a world as pure and blue as the Earth. And on this world, there lived two "Queens" with the power to control it. When the world is thrown into chaos by one of those queens, a young boy and a young girl must stand up to challenge her for the sake of protecting all that they hold dear.
 

 

Chapter 1

 

 

It opens with a scene of two queens. The naming of them is really simple. "Queen of Light" and "Queen of Darkness". Now the Queen of Darkness is afraid that the Queen of Light will steal her powers so starts a war with her. The planet is divided into two sides and goes to war which results in the death of the Queen of Light. But, the "New Queen" will be born soon, and so, in her fear the queen of Darkness puts out a new rule.

 

Any new born is to be brought to her so she can check that it isn't the New Queen and holds none of her powers. Every state except one complies to this law as she looks for the baby. This country, Ageha, The Swallowtail Continent lays of the shore of the main mass, surrounded by the sea, and also making it hard for the Queen of Darkness to remain in power over it. Ageha orginally fought for the Queen of Light and still continues to disobey the Queen of Darkness. They have defied her dark law for nearly 15 years.

She has grown tired of their small rebllion for now and has the Prime Minister of the country sent for. Once he arrives with his two huge guards the Queen of Darkness reveals that she sent someone to look for the New Queen in his country and her soldier was returned to her, dead, slain by a weapon from Ageha. In reaction to this she believes they are haboring the New Queen and declares war on the Kingdom of Ageha.

The Prime Minister swears that it must be a misunderstanding or someone trying to make them go to war, but the Queen of Darkness won't go for it. The war has already started she says, and will end shortly as she plans to use the 'Queen's Power', the ability to 'control the world'. She plans to bury the continent of Ageha beneath the sea. The Prime Minister trys to stop her from doing it.

Back in Ageha a large black spike has potruded from the ground near a village/ or farm. More pillars erupt as we learn that maybe Ageha is a country of gaints (seriously, all the people look huge in the pictures, and then there is the dinosuars...).

So, the Prime Minister and his guards look like they will be fighting for the country back at the Queen of Darkness' castle. A battle ensues and quickly is over, though no one appears to be dead, just knocked out. The Ageha representatives have won and say they will not kill her minions but the Queen herself is another matter in order to protect their country.

Then, a stranger arrives on the scene, covered in black with some really long tail coming out from his head. Which is apprently a weapon that he uses to put a deep crack in the floor to keep the Prime Minister from the Queen of Darkness. Another battle is started between the Ageha representatives and snake head. To be ended shortly, but the Queen of Darkness will not let them die yet, they must first see their home perish at her power.

To Ageha! Destruction, and running people, the sounds of dinasours being slaughtered! (mwhahaha!) We meet Sanagi here in the middle of this chaos (nicely drawn, details strapaganza). More crazed land destruction, people falling, diansours going extinct all over again. Then back to Sanagi and a girl named Mayu.

An Elder appears, explaining the situation to the two children and a woman. Sanagi has a fit of rage proclaiming that he never wants to see the destruction the Queen's Power can do again and doesn't care which Queen uses it. He shall kill them!

Other families have also escaped from this turmoil and taken haven in another country. But, the Queen of Darkness will send out someone to kill them all and erase the last few traces of Ageha. She also believes that the New Queen is among them but has no 'awoken' yet.

It would appear that snake head has been given this task dubbed executioner. Sorry, snake head is the wrong term, "shooting star soliders" (makes some sense). The only people that can fight them is a "tail hunter" Sanagi wants to kill the Queen of Darkness but is still training to become a tail hunter.

Good thing Rob shuts him up with a punch, of course this causes a fight. So Rob and 'little catterpillar, Sanagi get in a fight. Adorable Mayu interupts the fight for a slipt second to wish her friend good luck.

Coming Up

So due to me being gone for a couple weeks while I got myself settled in the new apartment let's go over what I having going on right now and what's coming up.

With the Nerve Gear, a virtual reality Helmet that stimulates the user's five senses via their brain, players can experience and control their in-game characters with their minds.

Heaven's Will (manga) - Sudou Mikuzu has a very special talent—she can see ghosts. And because of this predisposition she's become a magnet for all sorts of unwelcome monsters. Luckily for her she's just met Seto, a friendly cross dressing young exorcist. Mikuzu needs protection from all the creepy phantoms bugging her, and Seto needs to practice his exorcism skills. Consequently, the pair decides to team up and help each other. In return, Mikuzu promises to bake a cake every time a monster gets zapped!

Blast of Tempest (anime) - The Kusaribe family is a family of sorcerers under the protection of the ‘Tree of Origins.’ Their princess, Hakaze Kusaribe, was the greatest sorceress of their family. But Samon Kusaribe, a member of their family seeking to resurrect the ‘Tree of World's End,’ a tree that opposes the ‘Tree of Origins’ and controls the power of destruction, stuffs her into a barrel, and banishes her to a deserted island. From the deserted island, she sends a message out to sea, which is picked up by Mahiro Fuwa, a young boy who's sworn vengeance upon the criminal who killed his little sister, Aika. Mahiro agrees to help Hakaze under the condition that she find Aika's killer with her magic. But once Mahiro's best friend and Aika's lover, Yoshino Takigawa is rescued from danger, he too gets dragged into this tale of revenge

Just my introduction

I've been thinking about making a anime/manga blog for awhile, and now I'm finally getting around to it. Yay! So... yeah, this will not only be for anime and manga but also asian music, Japan things, and probably a few games too. Oh, and any Japan books I happen to read. Of course I'll stick some random non-related posts in there too.
